Welcome to PK3, where we foster independence and learning through caring relationships and play.

I am Mrs. Graham, and I've been in the Land of Little Learners for nearly a quarter of a century at Ripley Central School.

With my partner-in-crime, Mrs. Newton, I strive to give RCS's 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds meaningful, messy, marvelous experiences.

Fun facts about me:

I have 2 children (Connor & Grace), 2 English bulldogs (Homer & Daisy) and 1 husband (the amazing Mr. Graham, who keeps our school running). I love Disney, speak Spanish, and read murder mysteries.

PK3 Team

Our PK3 classroom goals are simple: to encourage independence while giving a positive first taste of Ripley Central School.

We stress communication and vocabulary through reading and literature.

Early math skills in the form of counting and 1-to-1 correspondence will give children a base for further learning at RCS.

Homework Chart

PK3 students have homework, like their older RCS counterparts.

Each night, we snuggle up with our grown-ups and listen to stories. In this way, we learn to associate reading with comfort and good vibes. Parents document the books we've read on our Homework Chart, and our teachers praise us for this terrific work!

We also practice math fluency by counting items each day. Counting toys, leaves, or the steps from our door to our beds reinforces this important skill.
