🚀 Occupational Therapy Vision
My vision in Occupational Therapy is to create a positive, supportive, and "can-do" environment. This is a space where every student is empowered to discover their strengths, build new skills, and celebrate their progress. I believe everyone can succeed, and my mission is to find the "just right" tools and strategies to help students participate confidently and independently in their "job" of being a student—whether that's in the classroom, on the playground, or during daily routines.
🎯 Occupational Therapy Goals for This Year
To achieve the vision, we will work together on these goals:
We will strengthen our "hands-on" skills by practicing activities that build our fine motor skills for writing, cutting, and using school tools.
We will build our "super-strength" skills by working on our balance, coordination, and whole-body movements for play and school activities.
We will become "body-aware" by learning and using strategies to help our bodies feel calm, focused, and "just right" for learning.
We will boost our independence by practicing daily living skills, such as managing zippers, buttons, and our school supplies.
We will sharpen our visual skills to help us with reading, copying from the board, and organizing our work neatly on the page.
We will build our confidence by embracing new challenges, learning to problem-solve, and celebrating all our hard work.
