🖍️ Welcome to Second Grade! The Year of Adventure! I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you and your child to an exciting year in Second Grade! My name is Ms. Rowe, and while this is my 25th year in education, I still feel the same excitement I did on my very first day. After many wonderful years, I am especially looking forward to transitioning to this new grade level and sharing all the fun adventures that Second Grade has in store with your children! We will be diving into fascinating stories, exploring mathematical concepts, and discovering the world around us in a classroom environment built on kindness, curiosity, and cooperation.
I live close by in Lakewood, and when I'm not in the classroom, my greatest joy is spending time with my family: my son, daughter-in-law, and my sweet granddaughter, Ariella. They keep life fun and full of love!
In my spare time, I teach strength training and martial arts and even still compete in MMA! This passion for discipline, focus, and resilience is something I hope to bring into our classroom every day.
