Dear RCS Families,
We’ve had a busy week full of learning, adventure, and celebrating!
This week, we celebrated the 100th day of school! Students had fun dressing up like they were 100 years-old and participating in themed activities.
Our farmer friend, Mr. Morton, was here this week, as well. Be sure to talk with your child about what animal we learned about!
5th and 6th grade students headed to the Peek this week and enjoyed trying new things outside of the classroom. 6th grade went tubing with the 6th grade students from CLCS, and 5th grade learned to ski!
Please review the information on the reverse side of this letter for details about the upcoming Read Across America Week. The festivities will begin on the Monday, March 2nd. Throughout the week students are encouraged to participate in daily themed dress-ups to foster excitement for reading.
As a reminder, we will be hosting a community presentation about our capital project on March 3 at 6:30 pm in the Superintendent’s office. We encourage you to attend to learn more about the project and ask questions before the vote. More information can be obtained at https://www.ripleycsd.org/page/capital-project.
