Dear RCS Families,
It has been an incredibly busy and rewarding time here at school! A huge congratulations to Nolan S. for raising $332.69 for the Kids Heart Challenge! Thank you, Nolan, for your dedication to heart health and for supporting such a vital cause.
Our 4th graders hit the rink this week! Ice skating is no easy feat, and it was wonderful to see them practicing "grit" as they navigated the ice.
Last week, our 2nd graders went bowling. While they also practiced grit on the lanes, the highlight was the feedback from the bowling alley and restaurant staff, who raved about their exemplary behavior. Way to represent our school!
Our Archery team had a fantastic adventure at Ravlin Hill. We want to extend a warm thank you to the team there for the tour and for hosting our practice session!
We recently kicked off our new Leadworthy trait: Courage. During our celebration, we also took the time to recognize kindness winners for their selfless actions, our amazing readers for their dedication at home, and students with awesome attendance for their consistency and commitment.
We are thrilled to begin our school-wide reading adventure with "Nim’s Island"! Please check the packet in your child’s folder for all the details you’ll need, including:
