Hello families! We had a great week full of adventure and learning.
Our 3rd graders showed incredible grit and responsibility during their recent biking adventure to Presque Isle. It was a joy to see them tackle the trails with such perseverance and looking out for one another every mile of the way.
The spirit of service continues to shine, especially in Mrs. Rosage's class where students created beautiful artwork for long-term hospital patients. These thoughtful masterpieces are headed out to brighten hospital rooms and bring a much-needed smile to those facing a long road to recovery.
We also had the pleasure of hosting the Chautauqua Opera in the Schools for a lively performance of The Barber of Seville in California. Our 4th graders, prepared with a special pre-show lesson, and all of our other scholars, made us proud by being a wonderfully attentive and enthusiastic audience.
Finally, May 19th, will be our annual budget vote from 2:00-8:00 pm along with our annual Art Show and Book Fair. The Book Fair will be the perfect chance to stock up on your favorite titles, and it is BUY ONE GET ONE FREE on EVERYTHING! Plus - every purchase of $50.00 or more gives you a chance to win one of three amazing drawings for $25, $50, or even $100 in FREE scholastic books! It's going to be a night full of excitement, art, community, and of course...books!
