What an absolutely incredible couple of weeks it has been for our school community! We have been out and about, exploring, learning, and showing the world exactly what our students are made of.
Our classrooms have also been taking their learning on the road. Our third through sixth graders recently headed out to a Jamestown Tarp Skunks game. They had an absolute blast at the ballpark, and what made the day even sweeter was the fact that the stadium workers took the time to compliment our students on their excellent behavior. Way to represent our school!
We welcomed the Big Boy 4014 to Ripley on June 9th. A massive thank you goes out to our wonderful community for organizing such a fantastic event. It was truly a memorable day for our students!
Our fourth graders had an unforgettable adventure last Friday exploring Niagara Falls and the Lockport Locks. It was wonderful to see them diving into new experiences with so much curiosity and enthusiasm. On that same day, our first graders took on Panama Rocks. They blew us away with their bravery and grit as they navigated the trails and climbed through the formations.
Speaking of grit, we are bursting with pride for our Girls on the Run team! They crushed their 5K in Buffalo this past weekend, showing incredible determination and hear from start to finish.
To top off an already amazing weekend, our All County musicians put on quite a performance at the Chautauqua Institute. We are incredibly lucky to have such talented individuals sharing their gifts with us.
Our students will be participating in two additional emergency lockdown drills with the coming weeks. The drills will last between 10 to 15 minutes. It's important to note that during this period, access to the building will be restricted to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the drills.
Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see everyone on Monday!
