Dear RCS Families,
We had another great week at Ripley! As the cooler weather approaches, please feel free to send in a hoodie or light jacket, labeled with your child’s name, for your child to wear as we are still enjoying the weather outside when it’s not rainy or too cold!
Next Friday, October 2nd, we will conduct our “Go Home Early Drill.” Student dismissal will begin at 2:55 PM as part of this exercise. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school.
Mark your calendars! Stop in for our Open House from 5:00–7:00 PM to meet your child's teacher, connect with local community organizations, and enjoy our annual fall Literacy Night on Thursday, October 8. We’re thrilled to host the Scholastic Book Fair standard alongside the evening—it's the perfect opportunity to share a love of reading and stock up on cozy winter bedtime stories!
Don’t forget to order your 2026-2027 Ripley Central School Yearbook! Capture all the special memories from this school year before it’s too late. Yearbooks are $35 and make a great keepsake for your child. Order yours today so you don’t miss out! After October 31st, the price will increase to $37.
Please be sure to stay connected with us on the Ripley Central School app. This is where we post announcements, pictures, communications to home, etc. If you need any support in navigating the app, please reach out to Mrs. Kozlowski at lkozlowski@ripleycsd.org or 716-736-7224.
Please remember to have your car rider name tags clearly displayed at dismissal each day. This helps ensure we are calling for the correct family and keeps dismissal running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Thank for your cooperation.
Picture day has changed from October 5th to October 19th. Please note this change and plan accordingly. Emails were sent to parents/guardians, from Inter-State Studios, with the incorrect date; however, this code still works for ordering. We will send out reminders as the date nears.
Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday!
