Dear RCS Families,
The school will be celebrating the Fall season on Monday, October 5th! Students will enjoy activities such as visiting the pumpkin patch, face painting, stomping grapes, and making apple cider. Please have your child wear rain boots or snow boots if available, as the field may be wet, and grape stomping can get messy. We will also have various sizes of boots on hand, but students who bring their own boots will be able to move through the stations more quickly. Please have clothes to keep your child warm in the event it’s chilly. It’s going to be a fantastic, fun-filled Fall day!
Next week our Open House will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 5:00–7:00 PM. At this time, you can meet your child's teacher, connect with local community organizations, and enjoy our annual Fall Literacy Night. We’re thrilled to host the Scholastic Book Fair (4:30-8:00 pm) on this evening as well—it's the perfect opportunity to share a love of reading and stock up on cozy winter bedtime stories!
