2nd grade visited their friends in 1st grade today to celebrate all they learned in their latest reading unit!
5th grade started their picture book club mini-unit last week! They are deep diving into four different books to determine theme, character traits, and author's craft. These book clubs also help the students strengthen communication- both by listening and speaking with their peers.

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Registration for the 2025-2026 UPK (Universal Pre-K) Program will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025. If you're a parent wishing to register your child, please contact the Guidance Office at 716-736-7232 to begin the process.
📝 Eligibility:
To qualify for the UPK Program, a child must be 3 years old on or before December 1, 2025.
🔔 If you know of any neighbors or friends with children of UPK3 or UPK4 age who might not see this post, please let them know about the registration!
We will also be offering tours (at a later date) and answering parent questions once the registration process begins. We can’t wait to meet our youngest scholars and their families! 🌈
Kindergarten celebrated the 100th Day this week! Some students dressed as 100-year-olds and our 2nd grade friends came in to help count their 100 objects that they brought in from home.
Our Friday kicked off with another round of Eagle Wing winners! We love that our students consistently demonstrate our Ripley character strengths of respect, responsibility, thankfulness, grit, and leadership. Keep up the hard work!
Our 6th graders participated in a joint adventure with the 6th grade students at CLCS on Friday. They went tubing, participated in ice breaker activities, and enjoyed lunch together!
4th grade tried a variety of new fruits and veggies thanks to our Fitness for Kids Program! They tried papaya, guava, golden kiwi, plums, peppers, beets and sugar snap peas.
Good Morning. Ripley Central School will be closed today due to the power outage and no heat in the building. This closure will only affect the PK-grade 6 students. Students in grades 7-12 are still to report to CLCS. Thank you.
We kicked off Ripley's Read Across America week with a visit from the Erie SeaWolves mascot, C. Wolf! We listened to a heartwarming story, and we learned about C. Wolf's Reading Club. Students will receive a special reading log, read 8 books, and turn it in for a free ticket to a game!
